Poetry From The Soul is a Hand Up Ministries resident program that gives men the opportunity to express their life experiences, struggles, faith, hopes, and personal transformation through the written word.

Through poetry, residents can reflect on where they have been, what they have overcome, and the new direction they are building for their lives. Their words may tell stories of hardship, redemption, forgiveness, second chances, gratitude, and the strength they have found through God and the support of Hand Up Ministries.

Poetry From The Soul is more than writing—it is a voice for the heart. It allows each resident to turn pain into purpose, experiences into encouragement, and personal testimony into words that may inspire someone else who is still searching for hope.

Every poem is a reminder that a person's past does not have to define his future.
