Hand Up Ministries, Inc. with the help of our great law enforcement agencies, Oklahoma City Police Department and Oklahoma City Sheriff’s law enforcement Hand Up Ministries will one day stop the revolving door of incarceration and homeless ex-felons.  We provide ex-offenders with transitional housing, faith-based mentorship, and the practical tools needed to rebuild their lives.  Through strong partnerships, spiritual guidance, and stable housing, we help returning citizens find real second chances.


With strategic coordination and a common goal, Oklahoma law enforcement, sponsors like Love Foundation, OKARR certification, Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources and Hand Up Ministries, Inc. can change lives and reduce the social and financial cost of repeat incarceration in Oklahoma City, OK.

About OKARR & Our Certification Role

Our nonprofit is dedicated to empowering communities through expert certification services, training, grant writing, administration, and project management services, ensuring that impactful projects are successfully funded and executed. 
Through collaboration with law enforcement and reentry stakeholders, we help break the cycle of incarceration and homelessness with safe housing, spiritual renewal, and real-world support.
OKARR helps recovery homes and organizations meet National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) standards. This ensures quality, compliance, and safety for every individual we serve.

As the inmate nears the end of his/her incarceration, a reentry plan is developed. Attention is focused on the inmate’s employment, housing, education, substance abuse treatment, aftercare, and transitional service needs.
